5. Despite the medications and the post-surgery pain, Bandit wagged his tail when he saw Silvia. It’s almost as if he knew he was now safe.
8. Jacki generously volunteered her home for Bandit as we tried to help him regain his trust around people. He was shy but loved the attention. Bandit began to warm up in this lovely home.
9. Bandit was happy at Jacki’s where he had a bed of his own. Jacki even agreed to foster him for extra time because he was so charming and sweet. She helped him with his leg exercises.

10. On a hot June day, Bandit met his forever family. Gaylen has followed City Dogs Rescue because of her work helping Essex Shelter (another shelter we work with) and was touched by Bandit’s story. On a trip to Washington, she and her two dogs met Bandit and fell in love. Bandit was adopted that day! He will now have a home with a giant fenced in yard and has already grown attached to his new family.
